The concept of this game is fun, like it was in Dungelot 1. You tap dungeon tiles in order to find a key to advance to the next level. Each tile may contain anything from nothing to monsters to powerups. You will die a lot but you can use your gold found to level up your character and hopefully make it further next time. Theres a surprising amount of strategy involved. Should you uncover another tile in the hopes its a power up, or do you make a run for the exit because it might be a powerful monster?
The problem is the endless In-App Purchases. There are THREE game currencies you need to buy. Gold is required to level up your hero and heal in the dungeon. Its given out sparingly but of course available in large amounts to purchase. Runes (which are incredibly rare) allow you to resurrect or continue from further down in a dungeon in future runs. Now these two premium currencies wouldnt be so bad because you could grind to get them. The problem is there is also a "ham" timer which fills up slowly only allowing a run about once an hour when empty. Its another purchase to remove this feature. Ive never understood why game developers punish their players for attempting to play their games a lot - especially when the game is packed with other purchases for them to make their money with.
The game was fun for the first hour until I ran out of ham and the upgrades were too expensive to purchase without real money. Can we just spend a couple bucks and have the full unlocked game please?
